Horton Evans Adapter Cast

Post by Humber67 »

I love using these clever fittings when trotting prawns for
Salmon on the Avon. I bought a boxed spare at Romsey this
year and I’ve only just realised it’s set for RHW they came with a LHW plate so you could swap. Long shot has anyone got one?

I’ve been looking for one with both plates for about 5 years. I’ve seen 2 for sale in that time, one boxed with instruction leaflet, and both sold four insane prices!

A bargain. I have to say, I do wonder if almost all of them back then were used RHW so most of the LHW plates simply got mislaid. Without the adaptor, that small piece of metal would soon become a mystery widget!
