Bob Brookes comment is very clever inference to 1966.......Hargreaves probably shot this in the winter of 1965 as the series went out from 66. Note the NSU car...??....reg number NPE 14C, a post August 1965 plate.A wonderful trip back to my teen years then compulsive TV for my father and me. Not pc now and I guess not viewable without one of those procurser warnings to audience.... :hairpull:

I enjoyed looking at the old cars too.
My favourite has to be the Morris Traveler.
I learn to drive in one (my dads, It was our family car we had it for years)
Being a big fan of Fred J, it was great to see him fishing and teaching the young boy, on a difficult swim too.

The close season is an important and interesting time for the Angler who set out to catch big fish. It is a timely opportunity for him to make new tackle or renovate old. There are no end of jobs to do, apart from those horrible things called Gardens!
