Nitrous Oxide Ledger Weights Free.
These items are to be found in every town and city across the UK just discarded on the road side. Drill out the sealing cap and they drill out very easily, super glue a swivel into the hole. In this case a 4.5mm drill and swivel barrel and that's all folks, freebies. A 21st century Arlesley bomb. They also with cover easily with a marker pen.

If you have no grease with you, and your rings are full of ice, do not cut out the ice with a pen-knife but get your man to put the rings one by one in his mouth, and so to thaw the ice.

I have bashed some flat and then planished them with a small hammer and made some Lures/ spinners to use in the sea from my boat.
Haven't tried them yet but its great to recycle them as you have above.
I thought being hollow they might float?

The close season is an important and interesting time for the Angler who set out to catch big fish. It is a timely opportunity for him to make new tackle or renovate old. There are no end of jobs to do, apart from those horrible things called Gardens!

Being hollow you could add more weight if required as the swivel barrel reseals the canister. Adaptable as well as free.
