One Man One Rod

Post by Coral Maestro »

While walking around the Lanes in Brighton I wandered into an antique shop and came across this booklet. It's a guide to a vintage fishing tackle exhibition that took place at the British Engineerium in Hove.

I'd never heard of the British Engineerium but the fact that it was in Hove would go some way towards explaining why I found the booklet in Brighton.
Wikipedia has this to say about the Engineerium:

Unfortunately the British Engineerium has gone through hard times but if anyone on here has a few million quid to spare it's still for sale: https://oakleyproperty.com/commercial-p ... erium-1990
What do they know of fishing who know only one fish and one way to fish for him?

I thought the contents had been sold off?
Re the few million quid, I’ve checked down the back of the sofa, but I’m still just shy of the million, by a fair bit! :Chuckle:
