Losing it….

Post by Troydog »

Out on the rampage in second hand book venues and antique fairs today I purchased The Deepening Pool by a Mr Yates. Shaz told me that I had already got the book on my shelves. But no, I bought it for £4 only to find the tome on the shelf at home.
Trouble is, the fish just don't read the books......

£4 is a steal for the deepening pool if it is a first edition hardback you can always put it on ebay and you would probably make a small profit.

Thank you gentlemen. Both copies are first edition hardback. The one I bought yesterday looks as if it has never been read.

If you decide to put it up for sale I'll buy it Tim. I've been meaning to expand my Yates collection considerably as its distinctly lacking. Or perhaps with Marks blessing you could auction it and the forum could benefit ? Only a suggestion :Hat:

I'd like to see you out on a rampage in second hand book shops. I imagine it's quite scary for the book sellers. :readnews:

Thank you Santiago, I think we have to do everything we can to bring these young people into the sport. Especially as it is ‘a master’, no less than Chris Yates who is offering instruction and inspiration…..
