A friend on mine has just sent me this video he has taken of carp feeding in the Mayes Brook Barking, a very built up part of the world. This is where it emerges from beneath St Thomas More Catholic Church.

Mayes Brook Barking.
If you have no grease with you, and your rings are full of ice, do not cut out the ice with a pen-knife but get your man to put the rings one by one in his mouth, and so to thaw the ice.

Re: Mayes Brook Barking.
Which variety though? Common, mirror, crucian, goldfish, grass, linear, - - the list is quite long! Or delightfully - all of them!
As they may have come from the pond, plus peoples unwanted fish, - they could be like liquorice - all sorts!
