Bodgers Weed Rake

Post by Woodytia »

As last year weed (hornwort) is proving to be a problem. I do have a proper weed rake that is fine to use if you have the strength and technique of an Olympic hammer thrower and a team of wild horses on stand by to pull whatever it latches onto in the leke onto dry land. So I made my own from some BZP door connectors and roofing bolts bought from Screwfix, I already had a large amount of para-cord, tried it out on Tuesday evening prior to fishing the following day and it did the job a treat so I thought I'd share it on here. Actually managed three nice Tench yesterday whch still found some weed but it was loose so they eventually came to the net.
