Hello,
I'm not absolutely certain but the screw adaptor that fits into tip guides for swing tip indicators sold by Guidesnblanks is 8BA - https://www.guidesnblanks.com/p/threaded_male_plug.
I hope that helps.

They also do a plug suitable for quivers.

Thank you for the info. I have a couple of the guidesnblanks screw in adapters but didn't think to check the website for a thread size.

Thanks

Forgive me BB for slightly hijacking your thread here, but I might need to know about these 8BA threads soon! I'm about to glue on a swing-tip ring with "hot glue" and obviously filling the thread with glue would be considered bad form. Is just putting a swing-tip (or more likely a quiver, as it will help with alignment) into the thread likely to be enough to stop the ingress of glue? I'm guessing that even if I did manage to glue the tip in, it would come out easily enough with a little localised heat.
