Bob Turner has put a 30 minute film on the Crabtree Society webpage from an early Redditch. It would be good if he, or someone else, could add a link on here.

I enjoyed seeing many traders and public who are still with us and attending. Sadly there are also many chaps who are no longer with us. I would guess that it was taken in circa 1996 looking at my son, Stu, and my full head of dark hair. I was definitely a bit of a porker in those days.

I wonder if I sold much that day? I probably bought as much as I sold, I usually did.

Well done John, sadly some of the the table holders are no more, but I did recognise many of the 'deep pockets, short arms brigade' they are still around!

Nothing has changed except the prices - great bit of history.

A bad sales day? With that body language is there any surprise.

The other person looks like a rather youthful Ian Rotherham.



It looks likely that in an earlier life I may have been Bill Haley with that kiss curl.
