Can any of you chaps recommend a good pair of light thigh waders. Not had a pair in years but there are a few swims on the river Soar that would benifit wading out a few feet.

yep! There the ones - have a look round at prices they seemed to differ a fair amount retailer to retailer - I think I paid around £50 for mine. Perfect for summer work Mark and the boot section is robust enough.
I’ve had mine about 3 years and still going strong.
There not warm mind so under boot stuff essential if your doing a lot of in river roving.

The service of this company is" variable" at best.I ordered last year and after a delay and several calls they said they could not supply. It then took weeks to get a refund. An Internet search then discovered other customers whose experience was the same. I would avoid unless you can collect and see the product in your hands before paying. Or buy elsewhere.

I think the waders are fine- the unknown bit is how getting them supplied goes
