pretty standard fare ,same ( allcocks ) style aerial but now has plastic handles ,4.1/2” with 12 large holes, 6 spoke with tension adjuster and spool release, adjustable centre screw to end of brass hub boss, 1.7/8” wide spool reel, rounded edge to back plate as many of Kenny’s reel features, correct smooth brass foot, ratchet on off check button to internal V spring and pawl that sits in a gutter . real collectors fishable reel from one of Yorkshire's most famous coarse match anglers.

Looks like a classic Kenny Kendal to me! I am not that well up on the timeline, having seen some with different reddish/brown handles or check buttons. Nice reel to acquire if you can find one at a reasonable price!

most of the early ones had horn handles ,the odd one with iverine & xylite type handles (customer choice I guess) but the plastic ones came later (cheaper & easier to get I guess) but they was all pretty much the same style 6 spoke reels .
