An update: I now have the first batch of parts and the second arrives tomorrow, so I will begin dispatch tomorrow and they should start arriving on Friday or Saturday. Those look really excellent

Iain, many thanks for taking on this project for us TFF members with wide arbour Speedia’s. It is very much appreciated as is MercMans initial designs.

Again, many thanks. :Thumb:

I was expecting them to be made, like the narrow ones, by a printer in Sheffield but surprisingly they got routed to someone in Preston. I was reassured, however, when I saw the owner's Twitter page: https://twitter.com/stevepearson_uk.

Sent out today 1st Class, with you early next week. Special free gift enclosed!

Remember that Macman found some small variation in the cross width of the wide Speedias and allowed for this by designing to the largest gap he found so yours may need some slight sanding to make an exact fit. Some people who got the narrow version found that securing the parts together with a piece of cork tape around the arbor surface was useful. Bike handle cork tape is an exact fit for the Speedia wide.

Thanks for enabling this to take place by providing sufficient support.

I have been corresponding with a Forum member about the possibility of Aerial Match arbors next. This will have to wait until I return from France in mid-December.

Enjoy!

Got mine thanks Iain! Looking good, haven't had time to sand them down yet so haven't fitted.
If you have the odd narrow arbour pair lying around I would still be interested........
Intrigued by the free gift(s) - what on earth are they, look like weird balloons, but I can't seem to blow them up?
Cheers, Tim.

For Anchorman and anyone else bemused by the balloons (for that is what they are) see here: viewtopic.php?f=28&t=28719&start=10&hilit=lifetime or possibly here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0QZmkZu4Aqw. I ordered some, they come in batches of 100 and I'm not going to use 20 or even fewer in the lifetime I've got left.

Be careful with the sanding, Nobby overdid it and got a loose fit. I think I've got at least one spare narrow arbor left but I won't be able to check until I get back from La Belle France (where the temperature today is 20C) mid-way through next month.
