The post by Greentura got me thinking, what is the full list of rods that B. James & Sons produced.

There are the fly rods as well though I don't know any of their names. Did they do an FJT?

Yes just cane coarse rods for now.

Glad you posted this as I've not heard of some of them. I used to have a few B James glass rods, Avon, carp, carp s/u, trotter and a couple of others but all sold in favor of cane a few years back. If someone has the specs and info about the ones that font have a thread for themselves yet it would be greatly appreciated.

As posted, one of each would be nice, but being a tart I tend to have pairs made to match and only for ledgering, with the exception of my chapmans hunters, but only as a second one came my way ;)

Yes and a rod called The Heron.There may have been a couple more with bird names that were on an early leaflet that i gave away years ago :roll: ...

Never heard of the Grebe Major before. Can anyone give a quick description? More expensive finishing? Heavier rod?
