Hello there.

Yesterday I purchased among other things a 9'6" Hardy greenheart fly rod, on the brass butt cap is a serial number G 8564. Can anyone help with dating the rod.

There are initials on the bag, looks like Bedf ll or Bedf H

I got this list of Hardy G numbers from tinternet some while back but I'm not sure how accurate it is.
