I go much lower and say about seven. But, knowing salmon anglers, it will be reported as being fourteen pounds which is what I've heard time and time again from the salmon guys on the Wye

A supersonic 7, they feel like a 14 the way they fight.

Some species look bigger than they weigh.

I've had huge looking carp that weighed a disappointing 7Lb - 8Lb :tea:

I would go with 7lb, their best fighting weight.

What is interesting is that it looks like it was caught (bottom right hand corner) on a Flying Condom!

I forgot to add.

Yes this fish was caught by a salmon angler and he has more whiskers than the fish.a few seem to fall to salmon guys each year.i take it they must be prone to eating minnows, because too many have been caught on spinners by the salmon anglers.
I’ve never saw one in the flesh, but I would have guessed about 6 or 7lb.a small one for the clyde.
