I confess ... 'Twas I !!!
... and I'm amazed I'm making the first post on this thread !!!
My birthday present to myself this year has been the really rather lovely unused Paul Cook "Fred Crouch Barbel Perfection" which was offered for sale earlier this week by TFF member Big_Tench.
For those who didn't see the photos :-
Should it arrive with me in time ... it won't be 'unused' after my week away at The Old Gravel Pits starting the 18th. March, where I intend to match it with the reel in this thread ... viewtopic.php?f=279&t=25559

Well done Mal, they are a fantastic rod

Nice one Mal, I can vouch that they are indeed wonderful rods and apart from barbel male great rods for big tench fishing
