A bit of Googling reveals that they might have been made near Dieppe and were 'something to do with' Pezon et Michel/ Luxor:

they was also called the luxor i think ,well at least mine was ,i'owned one of these ,the thing that let them down was the nylon gears ,mine was black and might of been the difference between the contact 400 and the luxor model

there is a modern version ,milo do them pretty much unchanged ,but hard too find in the uk ,milo call theirs the tact 5403 and comes in a fetching red or for traditional anglers a retro teak effect .

i tried using mine but couldn't really get used too it ,too fidley compared too my abu closed faced reels .
I try to be funny... but sometimes I merely look it! Steve

Nice find Steve!

I'd never seen any of those reels before....I like the carbon fibre look.
