I just love bream bites on the float at night! Watching the starlite tip of my waggler as its raises up ,then lays flat then gets pulled down to the tip, then raises again before doing a couple of lazy twirls then slides away just brilliant!

Not being a bream angler I have noticed one thing when ledgering rivers, particularly in relatively shallow runs, how the rod quivers in the rest, not certain why that is, perhaps they upend themselves and somehow shudder when picking the bait up.
Has anybody noticed that?
