Any Idea

Do not know if this is a Dorset or something else.Any ideas.

'The Dorset' is a 3 piece rod which came in 11ft. and 12ft. versions ... and one 12 footer I brought back to life which had an additional 'short' tip which I was told the late owner used when barbel and leger fishing (possibly a 'home made' addition as I've not seen another).

I use a Dorset and a Dorset Deluxe(and a Rushton)and although the whippings are similar they are a little finer than on your rod and they of course have the the usual transfer.Is it similar to the Foravon mentioned in another current thread?

This is only a two piece rod so not a Dorset.Try again

I have a Foravon so a Forcarp coul be right.The three rods were my fathers so I know nought as to the type of rods.

As the cork handle is 30 inches rules out the Carp ?

I have a forcarp the whipping is red and black striped on mine,like Dennis the menaces jumper..

I have 2 Forcarp models and both have a Handle of 31 1/2, in length including the rubber button.

My rod is also 31 1/2 so think it could be a Forcarp.Thanks
