Trying to remember, here, what it was that Richard Walker said about salmon fishing/fishermen. I seem to remember that it was devastating, and I must say that, often enough, I can fully relate to it. I would really appreciate the correct quotation and context, if anyone has it.

He said that "more salmon are caught by anglers who's money compensates for what little skill they possess than by competent anglers."
One could equally apply that to all the other saltwater and freshwater exotic species in the world. That's why the roach is my favourite fish.
