A 50th birthday present to myself :huray:
Restored by the late Clive Young, looks lovely, should get it by the weekend.
11ft 3 piece all split cane
I guess will make a nice chub rod,
Does anybody have one?

I have a couple of these rods, the first being 3 piece split cane as yours is, the second being whole cane bottom with 2 sections split cane.

Still have to use them in anger, being opportunist buy's at silly prices.

I'm sure it will fish as well as it looks, Sir. A worthy way to mark a special day. Hearty birthday greetings.

Very nice indeed, I have a Priory rod (no model name) and I am sure you will be as impressed with yours, as I was with mine. See my post 'Priory rod in use' Pafpuff.

Seeing the bend in your rod give me confidence maybe for barbel, I notice, there is some power in the butt, which I though about mine when I gave it a bend :Thumb:
