Now these are a bit special guys.

Made by a friend of mine I have just recieved some and they look superb...Well built, natural and nicely finished.

Can't wait to try them out at Waggoners, Redmire and even in France next week. I think these could be the key to outwit those wary carp that have seen it all before.

I've been fishing floaters with odd bits of sticks picked up off the bank for donkey's years.

I use two big float rubbers to attach the stick to the line so you can adjust the distance from the hook bait depending on where/how you are fishing. For instance, in open water I pull the stick about a yard from the hook bait but if fishing under my feet I slide it right down to touch the hook bait. This hides the line from the carp that get increasingly wary as they come in close to mop up the odd floating bait. Baits often end up stuck next to a stick in the general flotsam that gathers on the downwind edge of the pool. It's fooled them no end of times.

I like the look of them SK :thumb: .A bit of work and thought has gone in to them so the price is fair in my opinion.Having said that i use old celluloid floats for floater fishing. They are cheap and certainly work :) .

I hope they float better than those!
I've just realised the Buddleia needs trimming...
