I know this is a very old post about SU on B James rods but in their sales list they do not say under the SU rod, Stepped up but Scaled Up. I know everyone calls the rod Stepped up but as I said the info I have does not say that. Does anyone have info that says Stepped Up, if so I would love to see it so I can update my knowledge of the subject. Thank you.

A great rod, your very lucky, sadly mine was destroyed in a fire along with many other models. I had one from the first batch, it was known as stepped up MK1V, apart from pike, I used it for bass fishing when using a crab or prawn bait, excellent rod. I also made sure it was well washed down when returning from a saltwater trip.
