it certainly wouldnt look out of place so may be next trip i could try ledgering with it and use the bell for a bite indicator thanks for the idea nobby

A fine result - I must admit some of the restoration work I see on this Forum is exceptional and well beyond my abilities but for those with such skills is the added satisfaction of then using the rod for the purpose it was made for.

Well done indeed. You know before you start that it will fish well.

That would be very appropriate for a day on the Trent Nobby. Sometimes the tidal Trent reminds me of pictures of Dungeness beach in Angling magazine!

Thanks for your kind comments chaps! My work doesn't hit the stellar standards of some on here, but I do get a lot of pleasure out of it.
