the thames at appleford advice please

ive been offered a trip to the upper thames at appleford(laa water) ,any one know this bit of water, is it worth fishing and methods to use would be very helpfull, many thanks, chubman.

It's not a stretch I'm familiar with but until the weather broke the Thames was fishing well for roach on seed baits - hemp and tares. If there's some colour it can be worth fishing for bream on the Thames legering; I like to use a feeder with liquidised bread in the feeder and flake on the hook. Some good perch in the river so worth a go with worms though the crayfish can be a problem. Fish it and find out!
