A much forgotten book which, I find, is a shame. A wonderful collaboration writings Chris submitted to the magazine which covers many topics and makes an excellent bedside type book. Chris writing talent comes through in so many different topics making the reader smile on countless occasions.

This book is available from Medlar press for just £20.

Courtesy of JAA, I am enjoying this book for the first time. It is an eclectic mix and shows Mr Y.'s pen succeeding across a wide range of themes. There is an indefinable, contemplative pace in all of the Yates oeuvre which he makes look deceptively easy but somehow still conveys the subtle flow of thoughts that drift through the angler's mind when bankside. Reading his books has been a life's joy and I cannot thank him enough...

I have a full collection of all “Waterlog” magazines which I read randomly. To have all of Chris Yates articles in one place is excellent. Almost as good as sitting at the waterside with rod in hand. Would certainly recommend this book. Well done “Medlar Press”.
