Happy Birthday to him, reading his books is almost as good as going fishing.

Indeed - belated best wishes from me also. Both eminently watchable and readable.

Belated birthday wishes Chris.
Have just finished reading A Walk in the Dark., perhaps his best ever book.
How much pleasure he has given us all over the years, may he continue to do so for many years to come.

No sooner said than done, SS........well, a tad later actually. I eventually got through on the blower this morning and relayed our belated birthday greetings via Will, who answered the phone, as 'himself' had gone off to London. No doubt I'll get a call back later in the year The cake will have to wait for the time being I'm afraid, but I'll get my 'Gaffer' onto it when the time comes.SofaSurfer wrote:I think one of the GSC members should relay TFF's best wishes and give him a cake on our behalf :-)
