Oh Wizards very nice rods I also own one not quite ready for the bank yet I believe my rod is from about 1955 and yes I agree they do have a splendid action, stiff and powerful in the but with a firm middle and strong but sensitive tip, nothing quite like it.

I also use utica thread I have some in Navy blue and that's what I'll use to re whip my Edgar Sealey Floatcaster very nice to use. Good luck with your Wizard be sure to show us some finished pictures.
