Here are some images of the recently completed Aerial Match 3, with it's lever check mechanism clear to see.

I've run out of superlatives to acknowledge Lesek's work now. Each reel he makes seems better and better....to think he only started this a few years ago. Naturally he is inundated with requests to make reels but his output is very limited....remember each part is either turned on a lathe, machined on a lathe or individually hand made usually with hacksaw and files.

That said, if he had built himself a foundry who would have been surprised?

Not me!

He has gone and done it again!
The skill level to make such a stunning reel is off the scale :Hat:

Absolutely fantastic! A Lesek 'pin is the zenith of hand made reels surely? The practical engineering equivalent of a Feberge egg?

Gorgeous as ever, I am glad Leszek is still keeping his hand in :Thumb:

"Such stuff as dreams are made on." I've run out of superlatives, but the Bard can be relied on. :Hat:

I just love that 'Made in England' engraving on the reel, especially now Britain has become a big warehouse. It is a work of art and that is putting it lightly.

It's becoming pointless to comment every time this gentleman releases his latest creation. It's getting harder to find the words worthy of such craftsmanship, let alone the sheer beauty of each reel produced. I'm in complete agreement with OMR in that I would also take the reel onto the river bank to be used as intended, but I would also want to look at it every evening with dewy eyes, so, I would have to have two of these wonderful engineering wonders. Must not forget to do the lottery this weekend....

Thanks
BB

I am the proud owner of the number 13, its delightful to use, after a day at the waterside, on my return home I make sure the reel is cleaned then returned to its box. It only comes out on special days. I also own 2 other reels by Leszek, the Beult which is usually used when I visit that venue, the other is the NHS built to raise funds for helping nurses cope with Covid 19, that's never been used and sits in its box, I don't even have it on show in one of my reel cabinets. I treat Leszek's reels as if they are Gold. Thank you Leszek for all your skills and time.
