Winter growth is essential to keep the cold at bay, as is summer growth to keep the harsh damaging sun at bay. Looking good Stu'. I thought my silver hairs had only grown on my beards 25 th silver anniversary. Perhaps this wasn't the case then.

It's an age thing apparently Shaun.

I'd fully intended to remove said beard upon my returning, the good lady insisted. Yet I seem to have become somewhat fond of the scruffy urchin, and she seems to have come to terms with my new face. Seems I can keep it a tad longer, just so long as I "Don't expect any smooching anytime soon"!!!

Keep it long, keep it soft, comfier to wear and softer on her. Of course it really helps you think too. Next time you are trying to remember someone's name, look to the sky, stroke your beard and you will remember.
