looking very good, dont panic about the inters on the tip, just take your time.
I pick up the tip and start, if I have had enough after 5 or 6 inters I put it down for another day.
a tip is to apply a tiny amount of varnish (or preservitive) to them with the finger as soon as you can, this acts as glue and means they do not come undone.
Keep at it, looking forward to seeing it varnished :Thumb:

Good pictures or not Jollytar. Nevertheless that is what I would call a result! Looks stunning - well done, Sir! I take my hat off of you. Now you need to take it to the bank. There you will find THE picture of the rod.

Good evening all,

I hope this post finds you all well and hearty. Well as promised, I've dug out the old box browning, dusted her down a little and here's the results.
As you can see I've named the rod "The Fellowship" this is not only in reference to the fact that this rod has been made from two old rods but because of the help, advice and friendship I have received both on this forum and in person.

I hope you approve of the results
