Dear gents!
Anybody heard of Christopher Dawes Cheviot wool tweed Norfolk jackets?
Please let me know that this is good quality.
Regards,
Christopher

Re: Chris Yates old angling Jacket
I don't know the company or it's products, but a quick net search threw up the following information.
Christopher Dawes was apparently a country clothing maker who operated until the company went into receivership in 1998.

If it's any sign of quality ... at one time they supplied clothes to Harrods ... for what it's worth.

I hope that helps.

Re: Chris Yates old angling Jacket
Many thanks on that, Sir!
I hope I bought a superb jacket. If you might have a check. Seems to be in very nice condition:

Maybe a bit pricey but it seemed to be just what I was on the search for.

Christopher

Thank you for having let me win then, Sir!
Classicostume: An ebay seller to be remembered. Did ask for 12.50 postage and did not overcharge as the real cost was 15.95.
I will post under recent purchases when it arrives.

Well done, Chris! That's a bargain!
I said goodbye to what I knew and embraced the ways of old, with it taking on the attitude that big isn't best.
