Jack is soon on his Christmas break from UNi, and has promised to make some to fit the Avon, Speedia, and look into the Stanton and others. He has already contacted users of the arbours purchased via here, and will make some small minor modifications. I'll get back to you soon
Hi Barbelseeker

I have recently acquired an Adcock Stanton and would be very interested in an arbour should they become available in the future. The bigger circumference speeding up the retrieve sounds like a big benefit

My reel looks the same as Banksy's reel on the right, with the brake wheel. Not sure how old it would be, but would be nice to have an estimate of its age.
How does the brake wheel opperate ?
Apologies, I missed your question about the brake!
I’m no engineer, but basically, as you turn the little wheel, it moves towards the spindle and presses on it, slowing it down. Unscrew the wheel towards the rim then reduce drag. A photo will make things clearer!

More obvious with a Match Aerial brake!

Thanks Banksy, I have tried the brake wheel on mine and it seems to be working ok.

Would Jack be open to making an arbour (for suitable compensation) for a Leeds Centrepin? :Hat:

I too would take one for a Leeds if that's possible. Perhaps we should start another thread Barbelseeker? :Hat:

My 2 Leeds predate Lewtham - but no name in the chrome reels.
