I must admit I haven't done much in the way of angling up in your neck if the woods but I had a lurcher who enjoyed herself on Bottisham Fenn! ( not sure of the spelling now)

John Welcome to the forum, I fell in love with the fens in 1954 for its angling and wildfowling, many happy memories.

Mr B...I remember learning how quickly a lurcher can cover ground as I watched mine disappear into the distance near Crowland.
