Perhaps somebody of technical persuasion could run a micrometer over Chris' rod, with his permission of course, and then the taper will be known for Chapmans to replicate! I've a feeling they built some of the blanks for these rods for Sharpes and they offer impregnated blanks.

Since Sharpes of Middlesex are no longer a trading company I don't see the harm in this.

Lovely rod...... Right hand wind Mitchell! I have the Mitchell Match in right hand, but want a Mitchell 300 the same... been looking for a few weeks on Ebay. if you know of any going let me know.

You have got to feel sorry for the boilie fed Carp on commercial lakes, so sad, just fat and full of preservatives, what a shame.
