Too powerful for small roach though.

A friend made me one of these wonderful rods using Chapman's cane. It is an absolute joy to use and yesterday I had a fine catch of Rudd, no roach in this lake, and had great fun with common carp up to five and a quarter pounds. The commons looked like wildies and fought like them as well.
