Here are a couple of items I acquired a short while back, one is an Efgeeco adjustable plastic float box. The second is a rod rest which has no name on, does anyone know the company that made or retailed this rest please.

No, but I had one. I chucked it out a few years ago, not having used it for a while. The main problem being the lack of security with the wing nut, which kept depositing my rod on the ground.

I think before I give it a try I will get some of those serrated washer thingies and see if that helps the problem you experienced. Thanks MGs.
