Magnificent! There are very few fish of that size, and they've an awful lot of river to get lost in.
One question, though: how the heck did you force yourself past the Trent??
Got some worms last night; hope there are some chub where I think they might be on Monday...

What a cracker.....And before "Rain commenced play" As a Lea fanatic..... well I am a dreamer. Id love to know some more details. Tomorrow I shall get a few hours out and its a toss of the coin of Lea or Roding last chance before the 14th
Vole is right they are there, but not many......I was talking to a fellow at Fishers Green and he said that them there Chub chasers who spend days at FG maybe pop one or two out a year...

Having fished the trent for 25 years I do yearn for something a little more intimate and 'chubby' ...
