Can anyone indicate if there is a review of C Yates "The Waterlog Years" in this section of TFF and indicate which page number it is on, please?

If there isn’t, I do recommend it! A lovely book with some great stories by one of our best angling writers.

A great writer. I have all the “Waterlog” magazines and re read Chris Yates articles. It is good that they have been compiled into a single tome. Would recommend it…. If you can find a copy.

I’ll second that Phil, great book and wonderful to have all of those pieces in one volume

Re: Book search
Well thats the clincher..
I have just ordered a copy.
I used to find Chris's writing a bit flowery when I was younger so I missed out on a lot..
As I've got older I am enjoying the old programs and the books I have read, and thats only a couple, so.. its on its way,
Thanks for a reminder.

The close season is an important and interesting time for the Angler who set out to catch big fish. It is a timely opportunity for him to make new tackle or renovate old. There are no end of jobs to do, apart from those horrible things called Gardens!
