Thread for rod restoration.

Post by Wamfess »

:surrender: I am trying to source green and black whipping thread. Can anyone suggest a supplier or suppliers of the types of thread used for rod restoration.
I have picked up odd ones on the Bay, but it's hit and miss. I would like to find a reliable supplier.

Have you tried Peter Johnson at oliversrods@tiscali.co.uk?
There are three things that improve with age: wine, friendship and water sense, and there's no short cut.
