Ambidex Match question

I’ve just picked up a rather nice ‘match’ that had probably been hidden in my local tackle shop for decades in their’ to be repaired’ box.
According to a sticky label on the back of the spool, it was last loaded with 4.4lb Bayer perlon in 1984!!!
It’s was pretty much stuck solid, including the bail arm, but I’ve managed to completely strip and rebuild her and now she’s running fairly well.
I polished the shafts and used light oil on them but, should the tufnol main gear be greased, oiled or left dry for best performance??
Also, the ‘C’ clip that holds the rotor and pinion gear assembly into the main body has slightly distorted.
Does anyone have a spare I could purchase or, put me on to someone who does.???
