Hello,
Sorry Jeff I've only just read this post.

I agree with Northern Nomad's comments about the rod - I have a B James Ealing Avocet and the measurements are very similar to yours, the whole cane diameter on mine is 13 mm.

There is one person I've seen who sometimes sells rods like yours and just puts name transfers on them - worth a try anyway.
