Arbour for Conquest?

Post by Timothy Claypole »

Afternoon gentlemen anglers,

I’ve been enjoying getting to know my Hardy Conquest (non-wheel-in-hole variety), but I wonder if there is a way to shallow the arbour slightly. More specifically, is there an equivalent 3D printed thingamabob akin to the one sometimes used for Speedias?

Failing that, have any of the Conquest users among us found a satisfactory way of shallowing the arbour?

Thanks in advance of the sharing of your collective wisdom!

I remember when younger we used to bulk out the spools on our fixed spools and pins with parcel string… the white stuff, did the job well enough and of course on a conquest you won’t see it as opposed to a ventilated reel…just a thought….
