Jim Baxter's The Rising Antenna mentions using pole elastic in a waggler rig. I decided to try it out and here's my thoughts:

The grayling fishing has all but closed on the Dorset Frome with the commencement of the salmon season but I had a couple of sessions in February and here's how I got on:

I found your observations on the ebb and flow of grayling populations in the Frome very helpful with regard to my local river (the Sussex Ouse). Thankyou for your films, keep 'em coming!

Normally, I've always considered hemp and tares a waste of time from November onwards when fishing for roach yet others disagree so I set out to find out the truth:
