Mepps-Un adorable petit Bébé !!!

My postman keeps bringing me lovely things.......A Mepps Baby Vamp in superb condition,the badge doesn't even have a scratch !!! Made 1938 to 1948 so this one COULD be 85 years vintage.I had to de-burr a couple of the body screws,other than that,a tiny bit of WD here and there.FANTASTIQUE.

I love the Mepps series of reels and I have had quite a few but never one in this condition. It is a cracker.

The removable body badge suggests the reel can be changed from L to RHW but after fiddling with a RHW Baby Vamp,they are not convertible.Being of LHW persuasion I was a tad dissa.
