I found the book very interesting and what I learnt from it was that there are many different variations in tactics, baiting, float design and shotting patterns which have proved successful. I'm sure that this is not entirely due to fishing different rivers with varying depths and flow rates. It appears that there's more than one way to fill a keepnet.

Absolutely right Phil I learned that from both books too. AsJim says, if you put two anglers in identical swim, with access to identical tackle, they would both fish it differently. There is just so much learning both books…..
Trouble is, the fish just don't read the books......

My copy was waiting for me this afternoon after returning home from visiting a friend. Looks good enough to read!
Oh to be at my “Happy Place” where nothing matters but the being there.
