Welcome Laurie,
Enjoy, take it all in and share your interests and findings with us all. We all learn something new every day.

The close season is an important and interesting time for the Angler who set out to catch big fish. It is a timely opportunity for him to make new tackle or renovate old. There are no end of jobs to do, apart from those horrible things called Gardens!

Welcome, Laurie. I've been here two weeks and I love it. I found the site after doing a web search to try to find out how old the rod and reel were that I'd just caught a double-figure carp on, and decided it was certainly the place for me, as I often get odd looks when people see me using a centrepin. BTW, the combined age was probably at least 90 years but most people here probably have combinations far older than that.
