Well everything ever written that is based on Coxon's article will have mistakes in it but that is just what happens, no doubt someone will come along in years to come and rubbish what Ive done.

Since Coxon was mentioned would the Coxon aerial be related. Certainly it would be a great reel for the Wallis cast.
I practised the Wallis cast with a wobbly old speedia on a through action Avon rod and dacron braid line, plug fishing for pike with the hook barbs squeezed in and just enjoyed casting all day.
