I’ve come across a double-handed fly rod that is 11ft 6in but I think 6 inches is missing from the tip section, so it would have been 12ft originally. The serial number dates it to 1900 but I don’t know what model of rod this could be.
Does anyone have a 1900 catalogue or know what the rod might be?

Hello Richard.
It's Tony. Hope you don't mind me giving some more information about the rod.
Hi Olly. It's a Hardy, here are some images of the rod.
The serial number is 49574
Part of the reel fitting
Locking ferrules on both sections
The guides are like double legged
The one on the left
Hope this helps

Oh hi Tony, you’re Malcs friend then. I thought it strange to see my brothers rod in the post.
Anyway, thanks for posting the pics. I’ve added you as a friend on here and hope we can meet up sometime. Regards, Richard.
