How do Richard from the North of England,I too loved the Crabtree books,although I never managed to find that bankside eddy in flood conditions.

I know the one you mean Steve. The closest I ever got to that was a cattle drink devoid of fish! We will keep looking,nearest I got was a storm drain which enters the river Ribble.When the ruver floods fish seek refuge in it.
